I enjoyed this. While I agree the gentleman wasn't the most friendly at first, I get it. He's quirky and he opens up. It was a nice time. I love the dog and the fireplace and the beer was good. Get over the cranky man and let him be just that. Enjoy your beer and the quiet!

Hidden gem located in a camping area just off Jeff Davis Highway. Drank several of the two IPAs they have on tap; top notch. Small, but well-stocked brew store next door. Gentleman behind the bar (the owner, I suspect) was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Quiet and quaint atmosphere. I'm a fan.

Huge fan! Peace and quiet, books, great beer, and NOT noisy. Even better if you're lodging here, enjoy a little of the outdoors with a fresh drink. Don't mind the road nearby, if you're here to enjoy nature, food, drinks, or company, or yourself..the outside noise won't phase you. They offer flights and the beer is great.

Gotta say, odd location and odd set up! The beer was good though and it's worth the oddness! Come check this place out. If your a camper, you may enjoy it even more since it's in a campground office. Only con, 95 is right there and it's all you can hear. Owner was there and is a super funny and welcoming guy!

This place is a hidden gem right off Hwy 1/Jefferson Davis. The brewery is a micro or pico brewery, and the selection is top notch here here. My favorite is their Double Tap Belgian Dubbel. It's also awesome that it's attached to a Homebrew supply shop, so if you have ever wondered if you can brew beer (you can. don't be so silly as to doubt yourself, you super capable person, you) this is the place to get your supplies and learn. The only downside is they close at 6. So if you drive down 95 or Hwy 1, stop on your commute and have a beer. Let the traffic die down and then head home.

One of my favorite brewerys in the area!! The actual brewery is located inside the campgrounds store. They have brewing supplies and camping supplies in the front and the brewery/tasting room is in the back. The atmosphere is like a country store and they have bookshelves full of games and books to keep you entertained. Their tastings come in large glasses and I believe we had a total of 7 or 8. My favorite is the Cherries and cream. The flavor was very subtle but rich at the same time. I also loved their homemade sodas as well. You have to try the root beer if you're a fan. It's delish. Also shout out to the how friendly everyone was in the establishment. The young man pouring the beer was super nice and entertained us with conversation the whole time. We had a few different people come through while we were there and everyone was also very friendly.
